Mirror,mirror..

Mirror, mirror..please don’t conceal
Tell me how does it feel,
When with a bright smile,
She looks at you and then,
Caresses her hair with a slight zeal.

Mirror,mirror.. I had a question in mind,
Whom do you more beautiful find?
The lady that gazes at you
With dream in her eyes
Or the angel that resides behind.

Mirror, mirror.. I always wonder this,
Don’t you ever her absence miss?
Because you are the only soul,
Who she so lovingly glares,
And make my heart burn in flares.

Mirror o mirror, I want you to say,
What will you take away
To let me be you for one day,
So that when she looks at me,
I get reflected deep into her eyes.

I'll admit a very mercenary intention drew me to this poem of urs. that being? i had written a poem of the exact same title when i had a fixation for mirrors for sometime .lol.

returning to the poem..
"Mirror, mirror.. I always wonder this,
Don’t you ever her absence miss?
Because you are the only soul,
Who she so lovingly glares,
And make my heart burn in flares."

these lines are so cutely jealous!!
as someone said...very 'awwish'. ha ha. i beg to affirm that opinion!
i don't often find men writing such cute things, so its a refreshing change ..
Cheers to cuteness ^__^

Gautam Anand said...

@Poetess
Thx for being cute ..
and ya.. if you can read b/w the lines u wud find that cuteness in most of my poems.. whther it be cute jealousy or cute desire or cute likeness :))
